• Drive to Guptkashi, nestled in the Mandakini River valley.
• Check-in and relax at the hotel.
• Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
• Early morning (05:00 AM) check-out and drive to Gaurikund.
• Begin 17 km trek to Kedarnath Dham (by walk, horse, or doli – at own cost).
• On arrival, check into hotel.• Visit Shankaracharya Samadhi (behind the temple).
• Attend the evening Aarti at Kedarnath Temple.
• Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
• Early morning Darshan at Kedarnath Temple (around 4 AM).
• Return to hotel for breakfast.
• Trek back down to Gaurikund.
• Drive to Guptkashi and check-in at hotel.
• Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
• After breakfast, check out and drive to Badrinath via Joshimath.
• En route sightseeing: Mana Village, Charanpaduka, Bhimpul, Saraswati River origin, Vyas and Ganesh Gufa.

FAQ
The best time is May to June and September to October, when the weather is pleasant and the temples are open. The monsoon season (July–August) should be avoided due to landslide risks.
It’s a 17 km steep trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Pilgrims can walk, hire a horse, or take a palki/doli (own cost). Helicopter services are available from Phata, Sersi, and Guptkashi (subject to weather).
Yes, but it’s advisable to get a medical check-up before the trip, as Kedarnath is at high altitude and involves a long trek.
